Education has been at the core of my life for many years. I have worked in a variety of environments and different educational settings, each with it’s own special philosophy. This experience has enabled me to develop my own skills and techniques so that the best can be gained for each individual.

This is combined with extensive subject knowledge and experience as a teacher, which enables me to identify a student’s strengths and weaknesses, and provide targeted support in a positive way. As a mainstream classroom teacher for so many years, I have helped many students achieve success at Key Stage 3, GCSE and particularly A-level. I have influenced many of them to apply for courses in Mathematics, Physics and Engineering as well as Actuarial Science and STEM courses. I am very lucky to have taught mathematics to so many students at this level. I really enjoy tutoring students 1 to 1 and so I decided to tutor full-time. Breaking down the barriers to learning, by providing simple explanations and boosting confidence is my technique. I provide a high quality and affordable private tuition to you in your own home.
